Amidst the roar of digital replication, we choose to reconstruct the contemporary narrative of printmaking art through manual/mechanical warmth. 'One person's factory' not only refers to the unique creative approach of watermark printmaking, but also metaphorically represents the spiritual breakthrough of contemporary artists in multiple identities. This exhibition gathers the latest practices of more than 20 artists, including Cao Ou, Chen Maoshan, Cheng Guoliang, Ding Hui, Ding Ke, Fu Xinghan, Li Wenxiang, Li Ying, Lian Zhuoqi, Liang Yejian, Liu Xiaoxin, Lu Limei, Pan Liuhua, Shang Youlu, Shi Lei, Wang Haidi, Wang Lin, Wang Qifan, Wang Yahui, Wang Yan, Wei Quan, Wu Yi, You Yu, Zhang Qian, Zhou Zhifen, Zhu Tuo, etc., attempting to reveal the "personal factory" production philosophy in printmaking creation through the dialogue between the artistic process and the results - when creators play multiple roles such as ideators, engravers, printers, critics, etc. How can experimental switching reconstruct the essence of artistic production?
