In order to promote reading among the general public and build a bookish Putuo, a special printmaking exhibition titled "Putuo Micro Scenery - Urban Memories in Bookplates" is jointly organized by the Putuo District Cultural and Tourism Development Management Center and the Printmaking Art Committee of the Shanghai Artists Association.

This exhibition is not only a continuation of traditional bookplate art, but also an exploration and practice of innovative expression of this art form in the contemporary cultural context. As an art form, bookplates are known as the "ID card of books" and the "artistic treasure of miniature prints" due to their small and exquisite size and unique design. German literary figure Goethe once praised, "A bookplate is a tiny window to the hall of art and knowledge." This art form not only carries the personality and aesthetics of the book owner, but also becomes an important medium for spreading culture and recording history. The artistic charm of bookplates has long surpassed their practicality, becoming an excellent carrier for artists to showcase their creativity and personality.
