In order to deepen the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches on literary and artistic work, encourage Sichuan youth to take on responsibilities for the construction of Chinese style modernization, and promote young artists to contribute to the construction of a culturally strong province with the power of youth, the Sichuan Artists Association and Sichuan Art Museum jointly held the 9th Sichuan Youth Art Exhibition. The Sichuan Youth Art Exhibition is a comprehensive exhibition at the provincial level in Sichuan. As a benchmark for artistic creation during a certain period, it is an important platform for discovering, supporting, consolidating, and reserving new forces in Sichuan art. It also tests the youthful power of Sichuan art and is widely praised in the industry, with far-reaching influence. Since its establishment in 1980, the exhibition has gathered countless young creators with artistic ideals, many of whom have emerged as the backbone of art creation in the province. In the new century long journey, facing the ever-changing and diverse world, as well as the era context where historical traditions and digital technology coexist, young artists express themselves and observe the times with broader thinking, more dynamic emotions, and more diverse explorations. As always, this exhibition has received enthusiastic participation from young artists in Sichuan. Since the solicitation of submissions, a total of 1052 works have been received for evaluation.
