The opening ceremony of the annual exhibition of the first "Hong Kong 'Huang Yongyu' International Young Print Artists Support Program" was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on the 4th. The program is jointly sponsored by Hong Kong's Takung Pa Media Group, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, the Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government, and the Propaganda and Culture Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is also supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. This program is committed to discovering outstanding young Chinese artists. Each year, it provides support to finalists, including media coverage, annual exhibitions, and opportunities for creative exchanges. It aims to promote the international development of Chinese print art, facilitate cultural and artistic exchanges between the East and the West, and inject strong momentum into Hong Kong's efforts to build itself into a hub for cultural and artistic exchanges between China and the world. Since its inception, this annual artist support program has received enthusiastic responses from the art community, with nearly a thousand young talents deeply engaged in print art actively participating. After rigorous selection by expert reviewers, 111 young artists with distinctive styles and outstanding performances were successfully selected. They come from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, as well as the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, South Korea, and other countries. This exhibition is structured around four sections: "Speaking Through Prints," "Prints Unveil New Visions," "Print Art Spreads Fragrance," and "Illustrating Longjiang," connecting history, the present, and the future.
