The 2nd Yan'an Woodcut Print Biennial, jointly hosted by the China Artists Association, Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Propaganda Department of the Yan'an Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, was an art exhibition guided by the China Literature and Art Publishing House and the Propaganda Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China on October 13, 2025. The main venue was located at the Yan'an LuYi Cultural Center. With the theme of "Art for the People", the exhibition collected 1,758 original woodcut prints from across the country over the past five years, and after evaluation, 204 selected works were exhibited, covering black and white woodcuts, color woodcuts, watermark woodcuts, and other forms. The exhibited works focused on the living conditions and spiritual outlook of the people in the new era, aiming to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Yan'an woodcut prints. During the exhibition, supporting activities such as a symposium on the co-construction of the Yan'an Woodcut Print Art Center, artist visits, and academic discussions were held, and efforts were made to explore the establishment of a normalized cooperation mechanism between institutions and local areas. Zhu Di, Vice Chairman of the China Literature and Art Publishing House, and Qu Jian, Secretary of the Party Group of the China Artists Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
