On April 13, 2024, the "MoAE Collection and Academic Research Series Exhibition: The Evolution of Concepts" was grandly inaugurated at the Zhejiang Huamao Art Education Museum. This exhibition is supported by the Printmaking Art Committee of the China Artists Association and the Zhejiang Printmakers Association as academic supporters, and guided by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism. It is hosted by the Huamao Art Education Museum and generously supported by the Xu Wanmao Meizhu Public Welfare Foundation.

This exhibition is divided into four chapters: "Presence: Printmaking Intervenes in Society", "Special Session: From Revolution to Construction", "Starting Point: Printmaking as a Method", and "Origin: From Contemporary to Printmaking". It is the first large-scale group exhibition of artists at the Huamao Art Education Museum. The exhibition features classic print works by artists such as Luo Qingzhen, Li Hua, Hu Yichuan, Jiang Feng, Luo Gongliu, Yan Han, Gu Yuan, and Huang Yongyu, and dialogues with print works by contemporary artists such as Xu Bing, Tan Ping, Su Xinping, Wang Huaxiang, Chen Qi, and Fang Lijun. Over 200 works are exhibited, presenting an art extravaganza that blends tradition and contemporary, and brings together classic and innovation. The exhibition also showcases the original "Self-Portrait" by German expressionist printmaker Kathe Kollwitz, whose print works have had a significant impact on Chinese modern print art.

During the two-month extension period, the museum provided visitors with art education activities covering multiple age groups, including the continuation of the highly acclaimed "MoAE Little Tour Guide Growth Program", which has just been awarded the honor of Excellent Public Education Project by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2023.
