The "Clouds Rise - Chen Qi Printmaking Art Exhibition" kicked off on September 14, 2024, in Halls 5 and 6 of Zhejiang Art Museum. This exhibition is hosted by Zhejiang Art Museum, with Professor Xu Jiang from China Academy of Art as the academic host and Director Ying Jinfei from Zhejiang Art Museum as the curator. This exhibition showcases approximately 75 watermark print works created by Chen Qi from the 1980s to the present day, including representative works of his artistic career. The works are displayed in chronological order of time and creative stages, presenting Chen Qi's rich and profound artistic appearance from multiple perspectives
The exhibition is divided into two sections: "Inside the Dao, Outside the Vessel" and "The Impermanence of Water". The first section "Dao Nei Wu Wai" focuses on explaining Professor Chen Qi's academic viewpoint on the dialectical unity of technology and concepts, demonstrating how he expresses deeper thoughts and emotions through continuous innovation in techniques. The second section, 'The Impermanence of Water', focuses on the theme of 'water', which not only frequently serves as his subject of expression, but also embodies his keen insight into the changes of the times
