The UK Woodblock Education Trust, formerly known as the European Woodblock Foundation, aims to collect, research, and promote Chinese woodblock prints. The members of the judging panel for the first woodblock award include Professor David Barker, Secretary General of the UK Woodblock Education Trust, Dr. Anne Farrer, Director of the Graduate Department at Sotheby's School of Arts, Dr. Clarissa von Spee from the China Department of the British Museum, and Dr. He Weimin from the Rushkin School of Fine Arts at Oxford University. Some of the nominated works will be collected by the British Woodblock Foundation. The British Museum will also collect some nominated works.
