The 2022 Second Zhejiang Provincial Youth Theme Sketch and Painting Exhibition Selection Event, themed "Sketching Hometown Scenery, Painting the Dream of Common Prosperity", was held in Hangzhou. The event was hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Artists Association, Hangzhou Youth Activity Center, and Hangzhou Daily. To promote patriotism, cultivate young people's patriotic sentiments, realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and strengthen the cohesion of young people, the exhibition aims to enhance artistic skills and stimulate young people's enthusiasm for artistic creation through sketching. The exhibition began soliciting submissions in June this year and received a total of 2,727 entries from within the province. This exhibition highlights the authenticity and vividness of "sketching". Young people, with the theme of "Sketching Hometown Scenery, Painting the Dream of Common Prosperity", captured changes and achievements in various aspects such as the urban landscape, cultural scenery, and social and livelihood conditions of their hometown from multiple perspectives. They expressed the natural scenery, urban architecture, historical sites, and cultural life of their hometown in various categories and levels.
