Teaching animation with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD.
作为一名有着超过25年工作经验的动画教师,我教过大量患有自闭症、阿斯伯格综合症和多动症的学生。我想出了各种各样的策略来帮助这些情况下的学生。我也注意到我自己有很多阿斯伯格综合症,自闭症和多动症患者的特征。这也引导了我对这些症状的评估。我想谈谈动画师在这些条件下所面临的问题,以及在英国利用现有的系统评估需要多长时间。我还想谈谈我之前的学生们,他们在就业过程中所面临的困难,以及我自己的经历,以这种有点不寻常的人生观生活。我将展示学生作品的例子,以及我自己的一些作品,希望这次讲座能对老师和学生有所帮助。

As an animation teacher with over 25 years experience, I have taught a huge amount of students with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD.I have come up with various stratergies in order to help students with these conditions. I have also noticed that I myself have many of the traits of a person with Asperger’s, Autism and ADHD. This has led to my being assessed for these conditions. I want to talk about the problems faced by animators with these conditions and how long it takes to be assessed with the current system in the UK. I also want to talk about the difficulty faced by my ex students gaining employment as well as my own experiences, living with this slightly unusual outlook on life. I will be showing examples of students work, as well as some of my own pieces and hope this lecture will be of help to teachers and students alike.

Transforming the Intangible into the Real
Through my some animation works, generally, the technology used in animation production tends to become the focus of attention, but for me, making animation is to enter a deeper spiritual world where I transcend the dualism of mind and matter, a place where I believe lies the answer to uniting the subconscious with reality. The order of topics in which these ideas will be contemplated are: spiritually assimilating with the motifs in my animated works, creating movement in animation and its fusion with the psyche, the role of the subconscious in production, and the ways to access the subconscious through techniques of animated expression.

在LIFF会议期间,Morten将展示TAW中心的动画,可视化和数字故事。Morten 会以12个不同的发展项目为重点,通过动画工作室的系统、思想和活动,将动画发展成为一种教学、交流和娱乐的形式。
the founder of The Animation Workshop (TAW), which is now more than 25 years old. Since the early beginning, Morten has been constantly pursuing and implementing new ideas for the school. He has been the leading force in bringing the educational level and atmosphere of The Animation Workshop to the level it is today.
During the LIFF conference, Morten is going to present TAW center for Animation, Visualization and Digital Storytelling. Morten will got through the phylosopy, ideology and activities of The Annimation Workshop with the special emphasis of 12 different development programs that has the aim of developing animation as a form of teaching, communication and enterntaining.
