《时代在召唤》拼贴和并置了大量以娱乐为目的的视频素材,配上节奏强烈的病毒式音乐,最后使其形成一个洗脑式的作品。单看每一个素材都充满了娱乐精神、彰显着个性。当以一个宏观的视角观察时,凸显了强烈的统一性和集体意识。在一场带有社会主义特征的集体狂欢中,是充满个性的,还是毫无个性的?是在狂欢的,还是在被控制的?
In “The Generation is Screaming”, he collaged found video materials that aim for entertainment and selected viral music with strong beats to function together as a brainwashing tool. When viewed singly, each found video material is full of characteristics and individuality. However, when viewed as a whole, it shows the sense of unity and collective consciousness. In a carnival with socialist characteristics, Is the man individualistic or faceless? Are they celebrating or being controlled?

人的一生有很多做选择的时机,不同的选择会带来不同的发展和结果.很多时候你并不知道或者并不确定你的选择会带来什么样的结果.然而我认为,每一种选择都可以是正确的选择,每一种结果都可以是正确的结果,每一条路都是正确的路.
There are many opportunities to make choices in one’’s life. Different choices will bring different development and results. Many times you don’’t know or not sure your choices will bring what results. However, I think that every choice can be the right choice, every result can be the right result, and every way is the right way.

“鲁博”是我的乳名,通过寻觅“他”,来填补我记忆的空白。我将摄影与个人成长经历相结合,并延续个人情感和对自我的梳理,以图像的方式来表达空间和时间的模糊与纠缠,以及整个军人世家对我产生的影响(我的父亲是一位军人)。自幼跟随父亲工作地点的转移,导致我身边的生活环境不断的变化,伴随着时间的流逝(失),我对儿时不断辗转的生活日渐模糊,对那段记忆有种想要看的更加真切的期盼,旧事旧地有时会出现在脑海,同时又隐隐作痛,所以我选择用摄影来记录我的变化.这里面包含历史,回忆,印象和思念,这一切又都是情感与记忆交汇的结果。
“Lubo” is my infant name. Through finding “him”, I would like to fill the gap of the loss of my memory. This project is continuity of my personal emotion. I linked my growing experience and emotion, expressing the relationship between space and time of photography. I moved to many places along with my father’s working place changed. (My father is a soldier) With times passed, I felt vague about my memory. As a result, I was looking forward to finding the memory I lost and getting it back. The events and places that happened before will appear in my mind occasionally, that made me feel hurts sometimes. So, I decided to record the changes of my emotion using photographs, including history, memory, impression and longing. All of them are the connection between emotion and memory.

影片是根据压力带给人的影响作为主题的,影片分为七个章节,每一个章节即作为独立的,又和其他章节内容相互联系着。作为影片暗喻的主题,水壶也象征着主人公的内心,不断的承受着压力。而主人公在影片中的行为就是“她”面对压力时的表现。
The film is based on the impact of pressure on people as the theme, the film is divided into seven chapters, each chapter as a separate, but also related to the content of the other chapters. As a metaphor for the theme of the film, the kettle is also a symbol of the hero’’s heart, constantly under pressure. The protagonist’’s behavior in the film is her performance in the face of pressure.


暮死朝生/ Metempsychosis

影片主要讲述一个心理医生每天去给不同的病人看诊,之后将自己的所见所感以独白的形式讲述出来。医生口中的病人都对社会或者个人具有异于常人的认知。在他们的世界观中关于“生”的理论都不相同,每个人都有活在自己的世界中理由,而这些理由都像是证词一样,不仅具有说服医生的能力而且还让医生开始了自我怀疑。如何治疗这些病人?这些病人真的是病人么?医生在这一诊疗过程中渐渐陷入了无法逃脱的轮回中…… 医生到底是谁?而病人是否都存在?这些被记录的画面到底是真实的还是只存在于虚构的幻想中?
The film tells in a monologue the experiences of a psychiatrist during his everyday visiting to various patients. The psychiatrist comes to realize that the patients hold unusual perceptions of societies or individuals. Viewing “living” differently, the patients live in their own worlds for some reasons, and the reasons are so convincing that makes the psychiatrist suffer for self-doubt. How should the patients be treated? Are they patients for real? In his treatment, the psychiatrist is trapped into an unescapable recurrence… Who is the psychiatrist? Do the patients really exist? Are those recordings of reality or of delusion?


黄雀/ Who Watches the Watchers

我们从来就无法超越人类现有认知的状态去构建一个环境,人类一直擅长以观察者的身份“自大”,却很少意识到作为被观察者的“不察觉”,螳螂身后总有黄雀。然而我们无法想象超越自身现有认知的存在,与其虚构一个经不起时空推算的阶段性结果,表达界别间的运转规律可能才是更具启示性的方法。
We have never been able to surpass the existing state of human cognition to build an environment. Human beings have always been good at being "arrogant" as observers, but seldom realize that they are "not aware" as observers. However, we can’’t imagine to surpass the existence of our existing cognition, and to construct a phased result that cannot withstand time and space projections. It may be more enlightening to express the law of operation between the constituencies.


分子/ The Molecule

一个年轻人在他的潜意识世界里苏醒,没有任何记忆。他在某个声音的指示下迷惑地前行,经过了许多的自我意识创造出来的虚拟场景。在这过程中他慢慢获得了越来越多的感知,变得更像一个人类。最终他遇见了自己的分身,将他带回到最初场景中,才发现这段旅程是一个无止尽的循环。
A young man wakes up in his subconscious world with no memory. Being told to “move” by a voice from nowhere, he walks through multiple simulations created by his mind. After a journey round, he finds another self of him who brings the story to the very first scene. Finally, he realizes that he is trapped in an endless loop.


万物流动/ Everything Flows

万物流动作为一个VR电影体验,通过绘画,视频捕捉,声音,梦境,记忆和现实的混合,再现了一份关于时间与空间的私人记忆。观众将作为导演记忆的参与者,去自由探索、观赏与感受。
Everything Flows is a VR experience that presents time and space with a mixture of painting, video capture, sounds, dreaming, memory, and reality. You will be existed as an participant of Director’’s memory. You are welcome to explore, to see and to feel the space and the moments.

It is a set of nameless people’s dialogue. The film neither tells a story nor follows logic. Voice comes from my real life experiences, a word or two,marketplace gossip. Intoxicated with ink spreading, words spread, as dust gone with the wind.

墨生/ SEE THE WORLD OF SOUND / BORN FROM THE INK

一位舞者在古琴曲《流水》的背景下,与光与影,声音和图像,共同呈现出的沉浸式舞剧。通过肢体语言,创造了一个属于此刻的场域,观者自有所体会。核心:新媒体交互艺术 舞剧,声音可视化,动态捕捉 艺术元素:传统文化、古琴、水墨、古琴谱、交互视觉、现代舞 技术:通过红外线传感器捕捉舞蹈演员的动作,应用流体力学算法对捕捉到的数据进行处理,实时渲染生成模拟水墨的计算机视觉效果。该作品为沉浸式新媒体交互舞剧,用新的科技手法关注传统文化。 以古琴文化为背景,实现声音(古琴曲)可视化,和舞蹈的肢体语言与水墨的交互呈现。
Immersive new media interactive dance drama, with new scientific and technological techniques to focus on traditional culture. With Guqin culture as the background, the visualization of sound (Guqin music) and the interaction of body language and ink in dance are realized. The action of dancers is captured by infrared sensors, and the captured data is processed by hydrodynamic algorithm. The computer vision effect of simulated ink is generated by real-time rendering. The young dancers of Beijing Modern Dance Troupe are presented with light and shadow, sound and image. Ink image, body language, voice visualization, the ink field created by the three, customs audience’’s own feelings, into their own understanding and emotions, everyone can feel, occurs in ink, the charm of traditional culture, at that moment, everyone is immersed in it.


白日梦世界/ Daydream World

《白日梦世界》讲述了一个“男医生”,在心里诊疗室中通过病例和特殊物品,不断地陷入臆想之中。在这部实验影片里,运用了特殊道具,作隐喻与象征,意味性很强。同时我们不想界定病人与医生的身份,穿上两层白大褂后的人,可能是一个医生,他在做医生的时候接收到了病人的负面情绪从而导致自己会错位体会,是一种置换的感觉;也有可能是一个病人在假装艺术,不论如何,想要传达给观众的是一种猜测与想象,主要线索都在,理解角度可以多样,作品用几个特殊道具来串联整个故事,这部影片其实就如同他的名字一样,一切都只是白日梦,一切都是一个循环。
Daydream World" tells a "male doctor" who is constantly immersed in delusions through cases and special items in the heart of the clinic. In this experimental film, special props are used as metaphors and symbols, which means strong meaning. At the same time, we do not want to define the identity of the patient and the doctor. The person who wears two layers of white coat may be a doctor. When he is a doctor, he receives the negative emotions of the patient and causes him to misplace. It is a feeling of replacement. It is also possible that a patient is pretending to be a doctor. Anyway, what he wants to convey to the audience is a kind of guessing and imagination. The main clues are there. The understanding angle can be varied. The work uses several special props to connect the whole story. This film In fact, just like his name, everything is just a daydream, everything is a cycle.

什么是物质?我们所生活的世界是真实的吗?宇宙是全息投影吗?一切都是由高级计算机模拟的?我想,我们对这个世界本质还是不够了解,我们需要格物致知。
What is matter? Is the world we live in real? Is the universe a holographic projection? Is everything simulated by advanced computers?
I think we don’t know enough about the nature of the world. We need to know things.


双虎/ Double tigers

两只老虎本是一首儿歌,伴随着欢快的旋律故事讲述了两只奔跑在丛林中的老虎,但有趣的是两只老虎一只没有眼睛,一只没有尾巴。本片想借这个故事背景表达图像和文字的关系,整部动画就像一个编程的程序,当输入错误的文字的时候就会产生错误的事物,文字正确后,终于出现了两只老虎,但它们却因互相残杀一只失去了眼睛,一只失去了尾巴。
The two tigers are a children’s song, accompanied by a happy melody story about two tigers running in the jungle, but interestingly, two tigers have no eyes and one has no tail. This film wants to use the story background to express the relationship between images and words. The whole animation is like a programming program. When the wrong words are input, the wrong things will happen. Finally, after the correct words are input, two tigers appear, but they have lost one eye and one tail because of killing each other.
