出生于墨西哥城1962年2月11日。她毕业于墨西哥城大都会自治大学Xochimilco的社会传播专业。曾在墨西哥城公共电视台(Canal Once、Imevision和Televisa)担任7年(1985 - 1992年)文化节目制作助理、制作协调员、公共关系、参与文化节目的形象编辑和后期制作工作。

Born in Mexico, Distrito Federal, February 11, 1962. She graduated in Social Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - Xochimilco in Mexico City. Work for 7 years (1985 - 1992) in severals cultural programmes at the Public Television stations in Mexico City (Canal Once, Imevisión and Televisa) as: Production Assistant, Production’s Coordinator, Public Relations, involved in the rise of image editing and postproduction of cultural programmes.
She also writes scripts for Ruiditos in 1989, a radio series for children.
Since 1993 started to be an active member of CIFEJ (Centre International du film pour l''enfant et le jeunesse) and in the year 1995 is the Founder and Director of Festival Internacional de Cine para Niños (…y no tan Niños) / Children''s International Film Festival (... and not so young) in Mexico City, making 23 emissions from this festival with the aims to promote and disseminate quality films among children in Mexico.
From 1999 she created The Matatena, Association of Film for Children, A. C., with the aim of bringing the children to Mexico to film through the Festival on summer’s holidays and throughout the year to design and implement workshops on film appreciation, animation, fiction and documentary aimed at girls Children and young people in Mexico, working with a population of 6 to 13 years.
She was part of the Board of directors of CIFEJ since 1999 to 2002 and she still a member of this organization.
